Helen Denny La Rochelle Dux 2011

Helen is an exceptional young lady who is dedicated in all she does. Besides achieving outstanding academic results in her final examination as well as throughout her school career, Helen was a true Larrie in all she did. As chairlady of the Debating Society, she helped to inspire many other learners to broaden their horizons and knowledge of current affairs and the world at large. In her grade 11 year, she also competed in the Model United Nations Debating competition, held at the Cape Legislature building, where her commitment and hard work was clear to all.

In 2012, Helen was placed first in South Africa in the Computer Applications Olympiad, where she competed against 12 000 learners from approximately 350 schools across the country and was awarded a gold medal as well as the co.za Cares Trophy.

Helen is currently studying B.Acc.LLB at Stellenbosch University and we wish her the very best in all her future endeavours.
